Toba Community Forest License Agreement
Klahoose Forestry management plans are focused on the short-term objectives, and also long-term goals for sustainability that is balanced. Our success in Toba Valley was proved in a review of our operations conducted by the Forest Practices Board. This report details how Klahoose is doing an outstanding job of looking after the Toba Valley.
Managing a large and complex forest operation cannot be accomplished without having challenges; but, our board is pulling together plans for road building, harvesting, and tree planting to ensure the Toba Valley continues to provide benefits for Klahoose.
The Toba Community Forest License Agreement has been a cornerstone of Klahoose’s economic development.
We are entering our seventh year of operations in the Toba.
We have come through the start up years successfully.
